POSITION PURPOSE:
Responsible for overseeing daily store operations, driving sales performance, managing a team of sales associates, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. As the Sales Supervisor, you will play a key role in achieving sales targets, maintaining brand standards, and fostering a positive, high-energy environment.

DUTIES AND RESONPONSIBILITIES:
Primary Accountabilities:
Sales Performance & Target Achievement:
- Drive and meet sales targets for the store by leading the team in promoting and selling Samsonite products.
- Monitor individual and team sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to drive sales growth.
Team Leadership & Training:
- Supervise and motivate a team of sales associates to ensure high levels of performance and morale.
- Provide on-the-job training, guidance, and mentorship to new and existing staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards.

Customer Experience:
- Ensure exceptional customer service by helping customers with product selection, answering queries, and resolving complaints or issues.
- Promote Samsonite’s reputation for quality and innovation, offering personalized solutions to meet customers’ needs.
Inventory & Visual Merchandising:
- Oversee stock levels, monitor product displays, and ensure the store’s visual presentation aligns with Samsonite brand standards.
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist in the replenishment process, ensuring a neat and organized store layout.
Operational Excellence:

- Assist with opening and closing the store, including cash handling and reconciliation, as well as overseeing daily store operations.
- Ensure the store complies with company policies, health, and safety regulations.
Monitoring and Tracking Performance:
- Regularly assessing employee performance using tools such as performance reviews, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and feedback from peers or customers.
- Keeping track of employees’ progress towards their goals and ensuring they have the resources and support needed to meet expectations.
- Identifying training and development needs and offering opportunities for employees to grow professionally.
Reporting & Administrative Tasks:

- Prepare regular sales reports and communicate progress to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and local regulations.
- Provide feedback to senior management on sales trends, customer feedback, and operational issues.
- Handle administrative tasks such as employee scheduling, attendance tracking, and maintaining operational records to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS / SUCCESS MEASURES
- Sales Target Achievement: Achieve 100% of monthly/quarterly/annual sales target or exceed it by a set percentage (e.g., 10% above target).

- Team Sales Performance : Increase team sales by X% over a specific period (monthly/quarterly)
- Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) : Maintain a customer satisfaction score of X% or higher based on surveys or customer feedback.
- Conversion Rate : Achieve a conversion rate of X% or higher, which refers to the percentage of store visitors who make a purchase.
- Training & Development : Ensure 100% of sales associates complete mandatory product or sales training within a set time frame.
- Inventory Management & Stock Accuracy: Maintain 98% inventory accuracy and ensure products are stocked appropriately to meet customer demand.
- Complaint Resolution Time : Resolve X% of customer complaints within 24-48 hours.
WORK SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS:
Work standard hours follow retail/showroom operational hours with one day off in a week.  You may work in shifts including weekends and evenings.  You may have to allot work hours to collect sales data and complete sales reports.
You would spend a lot of time on your feet and from time to time may need to lift or carry items of stock.  Wearing a uniform is necessary.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
Performance appraisals meetings will be held by the Showroom Manager and sales supervisor every six (6) months. Achievement of annual professional and personal development goals determined KPIs in above JD and other job requisites during appraisal period and current organizational strategic goals.
