About the Position

POSITION PURPOSE:

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Sales Associate for our Luxury Watches Section. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales acumen, in-depth knowledge of luxury watch brands, and the ability to educate customers on the craftsmanship, functions, and history behind each timepiece. You will be responsible for driving sales, maintaining the store’s image, and ensuring smooth daily operations while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

DUTIES AND RESONPONSIBILITIES:

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by actively engaging customers, identifying their needs, and offering tailored recommendations.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to enhance repeat business and brand loyalty.
  • Utilize product knowledge to effectively demonstrate the features and benefits of various luxury watches, ensuring customers make informed purchase decisions.

 Product Knowledge & Education:

  • Provide in-depth knowledge: Educate customers on luxury watch brands, including niche brands, highlighting their unique features, functions, and histories.​
  • Offer expert advice: Guide customers on watch maintenance, proper care techniques, and how to preserve the integrity of their luxury timepieces over time.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least High School Diploma
  • 2-3 years of local experience in retail – luxury experience preferred
  • A positive, outgoing, high energy personality able to thrive within
  • Passion for luxury watches and a deep appreciation for horological artistry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have strong teamworking and relationship skills
  • Previous experience in luxury retail or sales is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a premium customer experience.
  • Strong relationships skills and ability to maintain long-term with clients and community and understands the needs and changes of the market.
  • Have the ability to remain calm, and measured even when under pressure.
  • Enjoy the thrill of achieving sales targets.
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and seasonal periods to accommodate our clientele’s needs.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle high-value transactions with integrity.
  • Computer skills to include operation of retail point of sale system, Word, Excel and email.
  • Organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal communication, networking and clientele skills.
