About the Position

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to support its luxury retail, distribution, and marketing operations. The role focuses on transforming complex retail, sales, and marketing data into actionable insights through advanced dashboards, KPI tracking, and data-driven reporting. The analyst will work closely with brand managers, department heads, and senior leadership to optimize business performance across luxury portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

Business Intelligence & Dashboard Development

  • Design and maintain advanced Power BI / Tableau dashboards for luxury retail, distribution, and marketing performance
  • Develop real-time and automated KPI dashboards for multiple brands under the group
  • Create executive-level reporting dashboards for sales, inventory, marketing ROI, and customer analytics
  • Provide visual analytics for store performance, product performance, and regional sales trends

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze multi-brand retail data (luxury fashion, watches, perfumes, accessories, etc.)
  • Build weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for senior management
  • Track key retail KPIs such as:
    • Sales per store / brand
    • Conversion rate
    • Inventory turnover
    • Gross margin
    • Marketing campaign ROI
    • Identify trends in customer behavior, seasonal demand, and product performance

Data Cleansing & Integration

  • Clean and validate large datasets from multiple sources (ERP, POS, CRM, e-commerce platforms)
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of retail, inventory, and sales data
  • Integrate data from Oracle ERP and POS systems into BI dashboards
  • Maintain structured and reliable data pipelines for reporting

SQL & Python Analytics

  • Write advanced SQL queries for extracting and analyzing retail and marketing data
  • Use Python for data automation, forecasting, segmentation, and performance analysis
  • Develop scripts to automate reporting and reduce manual data work

ERP & Systems Management

  • Work extensively with Oracle ERP systems for finance, procurement, inventory, and sales data
  • Support integration between ERP, CRM, and BI platforms
  • Improve data flow between retail stores, distribution centers, and head office systems

KPI Development & Business Alignment

  • Collaborate with brand managers, marketing heads, retail operations, and distribution teams
  • Define and standardize KPIs across luxury brands and business units
  • Monitor performance against targets and highlight gaps or risks
  • Support strategic decision-making through data insights and forecasting

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as a key link between technical data systems and business leadership
  • Present insights clearly to executives and non-technical stakeholders
  • Support marketing teams in measuring campaign effectiveness and ROI
  • Assist retail teams in optimizing store performance and customer experience

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in SQL (advanced level)
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, automation)
  • Experience with Power BI / Tableau / BI tools
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP or similar enterprise systems
  • Experience in data cleansing, ETL processes, and data modeling

Business & Analytical Skills

  • Strong understanding of luxury retail KPIs and performance metrics
  • Ability to analyze multi-brand, multi-channel retail data
  • Experience in sales, marketing, and distribution analytics
  • Strong problem-solving and data storytelling ability

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work with senior leadership and cross-functional teams

  • Strong commercial awareness of luxury retail market dynamics

Preferred Experience

  • 3–7+ years in Data Analytics / BI / Retail Analytics roles
  • Experience in luxury retail, FMCG, distribution, or multi-brand environments
  • Exposure to Middle East retail market is an advantage
  • Experience working with large enterprise retail groups preferred
