About the Position
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Laundry Receptionist to manage customer interactions, handle laundry orders, and maintain accurate records. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Excel to track orders, inventory, and reports efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and manage laundry drop-offs and pick-ups.
- Accurately record customer details, laundry items, and special instructions.
- Maintain and update laundry records using Excel spreadsheets.
- Track orders, delivery schedules, and inventory.
- Handle billing, invoicing, and payment collection.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a professional manner.
- Ensure the reception area is organized and presentable at all times.
- Assist in generating reports on laundry volume, revenue, and other metrics using Excel.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, formulas, basic reporting).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
