What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience
• Fluent, polished English
• Native or near-native Arabic
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience in BD, partnerships, account management, hospitality, events, customer-facing roles, or similar
• Proven experience dealing directly with clients, sponsors, or external partners
• Someone comfortable managing varied responsibilities rather than a purely administrative role
• Sports industry experience preferred
• Proactive, personable, organized and commercially minded who can take ownership and work across different areas of the business.

The Area Manager & Deputy Compliance Officer is responsible for driving the commercial performance and operational excellence of multiple stores while ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and internal governance standards. The role combines leadership of retail operations with oversight of compliance, risk management, audits and policy implementation to safeguard the company’s reputation, assets, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

 Retail Operations & Sales

• Manage the overall performance of assigned stores and ensure achievement of sales and productivity targets.
• Monitor daily store operations, customer service standards, visual merchandising, inventory levels, and operational efficiency.
• Review sales reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement action plans to improve business performance.
• Ensure effective stock management, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention.
• Support new store openings, promotional activities, and product launches.
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure consistent implementation of company standards.

Leadership & People Management

• Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and retail teams to achieve business objectives.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Identify training and development needs and support succession planning.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels and effective workforce utilization.

Compliance & Governance

• Assist in implementing and monitoring the Company’s compliance framework across all assigned stores.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, Qatar Labor Law, health & safety requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
• Conduct periodic compliance inspections and operational audits.
• Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor implementation of audit findings and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate compliance records, reports, and supporting documentation.

Risk Management & Investigations

• Support investigations relating to policy violations, operational irregularities, inventory discrepancies, fraud, or ethical concerns.
• Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and ethical business practices.
• Assist in identifying operational risks and implementing mitigation measures.

Customer Experience

• Ensure delivery of exceptional customer service across all stores.
• Resolve escalated customer complaints professionally and promptly.
• Monitor customer feedback and implement service improvement initiatives.

Reporting

Prepare and submit periodic reports covering:

• Sales performance
• Store operational performance
• Compliance inspections
• Audit findings
• Inventory and shrinkage
• Staff productivity
• Customer satisfaction
• Risk and compliance updates

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in luxury retail, perfumes, cosmetics retail.
• Minimum 3 years in a multi-store management role.
• Experience in compliance, internal audit, governance, or operational controls is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of retail operations and applicable Qatar labor and commercial regulations.
